I’m just trying not to lose my mind
I wish everyone would just be kind
Understand that with teen depression rates on the rise
And gun violence won’t subside
I’m just trying not to lose my mind
I’m just trying not to lose my mind
When a woman’s right to chose is no longer, this just heightens my blues
It’s like no one is picking up on life’s cues , divided we stand who is gonna call a truce?
I’m just trying not to lose my mind
When everywhere I look I see emptiness
Between the sketchiness of the subway carts late at night
To the friendlessness that exists in our capitalist societies
All across the major cities all I see among all people all I see is emptiness !
Raw and real! Thank you Llewellyn. I relate to this feeling all too well.
