A follow up to September 2nd, 2020: Charlie, Charlie’s journey comes to an end. A story about remembrance and acceptance and a love for his mother. The Day I Die is an end to developing a young man troubled with a sinister past.

Great screenplay! I hope you continue with it on getting it filmed. I enjoyed the details on Charlie’s interactions with his mother, Lindsey. And I liked the connection you made with Sheyla and Lindsey by their hair styles.
I also like the sense of foreshadowing/connection from both bodega events.
I liked the attention to detail on the lighting in places and the sky. I think the attention to that connected with me at the end. I found myself wanted to know more about each scene. My mom was a big Psalms fan too!
Lots of intense scenes and emotion. It really feels like you are in the room, bodega, the car, and hospital with the characters. I hope you continue to build out this world!
Dang. I don’t even know what to say. I should’ve known how it was going to end, simply based on the title. But I guess I wasn’t ready to part ways with the character. However, I’m glad we were able to learn more about his mother and the relationship he had with her before she passed. I enjoyed the constant switch between the flashbacks and the scenes in the present. I also loved your use of 90’s music to set the tone for the scenes. So dope!
WOW – I am speechless at that ending! Brilliant writing and I love the character development. Your writing is amazing, I could easily follow along and was visualizing everything. Love the repetition of the one cloud and no clouds at the end. I fully empathized with Charlie due to the vulnerability he displayed.
