it such a shame
of how things change
i used to feel the same
now i just feel pain
everyday my body fails me
it feels like playing with a gun without safety
my voice becomes shaky
having the desire to do so much
but only being able to do so little
i lay in bed in so much pain
although living day to day feels like i have nothing to gain
i remember life can be beautiful
even if it rains

Victoria! Thank you for sharing your poem. It can be hard to express how we feel, but I admire your realness and vulnerability. You give us sides to life, which is that balance. Sadness and happiness. At times on overpowers the other and yet, we can find one through the other.
